My lab focuses on understanding how immune cells regulate the function of metabolic organs such as white, beige, and brown adipose tissues. We study primarily innate immune cells such as macrophages, eosinophils, and group 2 innate lymphoid cells and how these cells support adaptation to metabolic challenges such as high fat diet, fasting, exercise, and cold environmental temperatures.
