Dr. Cho’s lab has studied the mechanisms mediating thrombosis and vascular inflammation. His preliminary study using the blood of type 2 diabetic patients shows that there might be a biomarker in platelets, neutrophils, and the plasma to predict thrombotic conditions in the patients. He would like to continue to work on this project in collaboration with clinicians.
